We Hired Affordable contracting services to build a composite deck in fall 2016. Worksmanship and employees were good, no complaints there. Now the issues; we showed them a ton of pictures of composite decks we liked, what we got was just acceptable. First they used stainless steel screws that's pretty much an eyesore for the nice dark wood boards we chosen. Most of the people who stopped by have asked why we didn't use matching screws?! Second the deck benches, my wife was pretty upset because one bench was not the way she had wanted. Upon meeting with Jesse we had stated what we wanted along with pictures and was told by Jesse he'll get us something that'll be nice so we figured he understood what we wanted. Jesse offered no apologies and plenty of excuses when asked why they weren't built a certain way. Before leaving he did ask, what he can do and my wife asked if he can just make the second bench and opening bench to use as storage on the side. He said he'll pickup later this year to fix. Bench is still sitting there covered in a foot of snow with no response when asked about this. My advice, if you plan on hiring them, make sure to go over all these small details first and not assume anything or you may just end of up with just a okay project.
We hired Affordable Contracting Services for two projects- a garage remodel and new metal roof on our home. The work they do is amazing! They always clean up at the end of the day before they leave. All of his employees are courteous and friendly. I recommend them to friends and family. They've done work for two of my friends and both of them are very happy with the work that was done. Jesse takes the time to listen to your needs and then comes up with a plan that stays within your budget while still using quality products. I wouldn't hire anyone else for my next project!
When our home was damaged during a hailstorm we hired Affordable Contracting to do the repairs. Jesse did a thorough inspection and worked with our insurance company to get the damage repaired. He answered questions and solved problems always keeping us “in the loop”. The crews that work for him are very respectful and in addition to doing quality work they kept the area clean and safe while the work was being done. Only two sides of our house were damaged by the storm but when Jesse noticed we had wear and tear damage to a few pieces of siding on the other sides of our house he saved pieces of siding that didn’t have holes from the hail and used them to replace the damaged siding. Jesse was easy to work with and he really works hard to make sure his customers are being taken care of from beginning to end.
We initially hired Jessie to install gutter guards and were very satisfied with the work done at a very competitive price. We subsequently had difficulty with a manufacturing defect on our originally installed shingles from our builder. Jessie not only provided us with a high quality and very cost effective replacement of our shingles but secured a monetary settlement from the manufacturer of the original shingles. Both jobs were performed professionally with follow up to assure satisfaction.

He helped us not only make the necessary repairs, but greatly increased the curb appeal of our property. The people that did the work were very neat and polite. The final product was very well done and they made several trips back to make sure everything small was completed. We love the quality and look of what we have now!
