Went in to purchase two nylon washers for a project I was working on. They are 21 cents a piece. It was a 42 cent purchase. All I had was my credit card to pay... Apparently, they have a $2 minimum so I had to drive across town to purchase what I needed. Horrible customer service as well! No wonder ace hardwares and true values are going under! Do yourself a favor and just go to Home Depot and don't waste your time ;)
This is a small town hardware store. Considering I live in Tampa Bay Florida this type of small and limited supply store would never work successfully in my hometown. But for this area and for the customers that frequent this hardware store at work so well. Also from what I have understood this Ace Hardware has been here for many many years. So they are obviously doing something correct because if they weren't they would not have been open for business this long.
It's right close to me, and I'm in and out of there in a jiffy! I always leave there happy

I enjoy shopping there. The guy that suggested the competition store, doesn't know what he's talking about. Guess he should switch spots with his wife and go cook dinner, while she builds stuff in the workshop with me :)
