Criminally incompetent. Neenah police officers shot a law abiding gun owner (a good guy with a gun) fleeing from a violent criminal, proceeded to let him bleed out and then tried to cover it all up. Google: Michael Funk shooting. The entire department should be disbanded.
No orders to drop the weapon. The threat was running away. At no time did Funk point the weapon at police. Officers ignore superiors during the standoff. If this is policy get ready for a property tax increase to pay for the civil six figure lawsuit that they will lose.
The Neenah Police department has not only watched over disabled people, but their great concern for my elderly father as well. They are always there when we need them. I give them 5 stars across the board. Thank you for your services you provide our community.
I went there to pay a parking ticket and the woman that helped me out was very nice and made it easy.
