Gary then got the contract and took the time to work on details such as rearranging furnishing, working to remove the tobacco smoke odor from the residence, removing some items to accent the size of rooms, changing lighting and bringing in lamps, linens and other items to better show the home. The change he made added to the appeal of the property, and he likely could have another career with staging and decorating. The pictures he took and posted of the home were far superior to those done by the previous realtor. He established a more realistic price point to attract a new pool of buyers and the home was under agreement for sale within three days of being open on the market.
Gary was a great help in handling the paperwork and walking us through the process of managing the inspections and other items that arose (roof repairs, “demousing” the residence, etc.). Throughout all of this he was reliable, available and responsive (by phone, e-mail, coming by the residence when we were in town) in all aspects of our experience. His genial manner and warmth made us feel that we not only had a highly competent agent, but also a great human being working with us.
